Shuttle loom webbing is a narrow fabric woven on a traditional shuttle loom, where a continuous weft yarn passes across the warp to form strong, uniform selvedge edges on both sides.
Unlike needle loom webbing, it contains no knitted edge or catch thread, resulting in a more symmetrical structure with consistent thickness and excellent resistance to edge abrasion and fraying.
Shuttle looms can also produce seamless tubular webbing through spiral weaving, making them ideal for safety-critical applications. Because of their durability, dimensional stability, and long service life.
